Use in mobile station and home-studio:
with Acer 1714SMI
P4 3.4GHz / 1024MB DDR333 / 120GB HDD

For the time-tested direct outlet Live (1:45 of cabaret, comedians and musicians) on Nuendo (Steinberg), 8-track in 24/48 with a perfectly satisfactory.

8 / 10 because you can not link two sets (for now, according to the Faq Edirol ...), and I'd like to have 16 channels input ...!
And they should have thought.

UTILIZATION

Well, I have not much to add, everything has already been said by other users.

9 / 10 because of the "manual" Fr too minimalist, but the installation is so easy to forgive you!

GETTING STARTED

I mixed (on Nuendo) recorded the show by adding audio tracks (15 tracks in the end), compared with the Terratec EWS88 we have in the studio, it is easier to route the bus ..., and level of the quality of the result, I am quite charmed by its performance.

OVERALL OPINION

Quality / price ratio perfect ...

Familiar with the Terratec EWS88 to use it regularly, and Hoontech DSP2000, which I installed and tested in the home studio of a friend (by the way, I recommend eXXXpressions ...), I would say that in the same "niche" (albeit slightly more expensive because in external port), the FA101 I will lead the verse (yes, the DSP2000 is disqualified ...).

The + is the ability to record 192kHz (6 tracks in anyway!), A luxury.
Reliability, efficiency and simplicity of the Drivers.

Now, however, for my personal needs, if I had known (well for me, I had to inform me ...!) we could not link two modules, I think I punctured my purse a little more for another model ...
But I would still be reluctant, surely!
