What technical specifications motivated your choice?
Jai chosen because:
Two of quality pramplis rhausss for my static (Rode NT2A).
8 analog input (line, mic), which allow many possibilities for a rock combo
Two inputs jacks ddies instruments (scratches, low) faade.
Entries for numriques Lavenir (else else may go in and pramps complment)
Two headphone outputs: one to his ling, pti lautre to a headphone amp Berhinger for singers and musicians.
The ability to mix headphones for the determination of its monitoring of the musicians recording.
For what purpose? and What is your config (motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
Background: amateur enthusiast. Sound home studio style Rock: pti mock committee or group (Drums, Bass, synth and hard virtual scratch with amp, vocals and backing vocals). Javais prcdemment an Edirol UA5 which jtais trs, trs happy since moultes Annes. Station Macbook Intel Core 2 / 4GB RAM / Leopard / GarageBand / Plug dinstru deffets diverse and dynamic variety.
After a few days I put my impressions Premire:

Very easy to install and run for a first recording (on intel core 2 Macbook with 4GB ram / Leopard). Utilsiation the installation CD. of the box. That's it!
The operating manual available and accessible on the site before buying to understand spcificit of loutil
The plug-simple but effective book with (gate, compressor, Rverbe, EQ).
The bill's beefy hardware (connectors, and XLR and jack seems solid) even if cest made in China.

No connections insert / return for external effects module (but I think Quil is a way to average with 10 outputs).
The audio outputs are only jackTRS. (No cinch / RCA, cest sometimes useful to the gear and no XLR Stereo, cest sometimes useful to powered speakers).
The operating manual of the software mix control is a little short. More dexemple connections and paramtrages dexplications and would be useful for beginners. We'll have to test to understand the significant opportunities. In short, nothing in dIMPORTANT ngatif. THE FIRST OF USE printing is very satisfactory.
