1-What characteristics have motivated your choice?
The firewire connection 8 pre amp with two liquid that are really clear, transparent, more, each with its own phantom power supply, pad, phase reverse, hi pass filter ...
2-For what purpose?
I use it in the studio recording. Buffer of 128KB, no problem mixing phase, even with slices armored plugs.
3-What is your config?
Pentium4core 4GB 1TB Serial ATA (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
4-Which instruments or systems (console, preamp, DTD ...) do you use the connection and how?
I use it directly to disc with an MCU in cubase to control the whole.
UTILIZATION
5-The drivers are stable?
The installation of drivers is very simple, no problems to date in terms of their stability
6-Is it frequently updated?
Focusrite has just released the 1st update, I will make maj shortly.
7-What software do you use most often?
I works with cubase.
8-What latency you get?
I get a latency of 6.3 ms.
9-How many tracks you get to record / playback simultaneously?
16-track recording and a good 40 on average for a rock band.

There's Ben has put the cd in the drive and click and it turns hop!
11-Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
None to date.

Indeed, over the virtual console allows an impressive number of routing.

Yes, I had a emu1820 a motu828mk3.
17-How would you rate the quality / price?
And saw the quality of the preamp and the stability of the system is really a good interface.
18-With experience, you do again this choice? ... Without hesitating, waiting to enter the 2nd preamp 16.
