I chose this card for more entries. I possde Saffire LE Focusrite for 1 year and really good stuff for a good price.
I use it mobile on Windows XP with a Toshiba laptop: core duo 1.6GHz and 1GB of ram.
I use it for recording studio or live.
UTILIZATION
Installation is quick and easy trs.
The manual is really short for a device as complete. It must be a minimum connatre operation sound cards what!
GETTING STARTED
The driver is stable trs, the change of Sampling frequency drives take a few seconds but does not crash the Systm ...
I am using Cubase SX3 with a latency enough not chopper clicks ... But the direct monitoring works well trs.
I have up to 16 inputs by adding the Saffire LE and using the driver Duplex ...
OVERALL OPINION
APRs have tried several cards dtail equivalents (motu 8pre; presonus FIREPOD-> bin) I chose this card and I am delighted ...
The pramps are irrprochables.
Be sure to read all that you fall under the eyes before choosing a sound card to avoid the story surprises!
