«  A good tool »

I bought it because my old M-Audio (OmniStudio) n'tait not compatible with Mac OS X.5 I bought.

4 inputs (2 and 2 pramps line) but not used at the same time.
8 mono outputs. 2 headphone outputs with knob indpendant. Firewire connection.

Usage: taken from his / mix in home studio and some live. I made the decision-scratching, bass and singing with.

UTILIZATION

I use Logic Studio 8. The driver works trs well, but it is better to plug in before launching Logic.

There are 4 inputs but can only record two tracks at the same time (for each company must choose between mic and line, we can not have the 2 at the same time).

Never had a desire to mix a couple of tracks at the same time.

GETTING STARTED

The install and config are easy.

The two headphone outputs with indpendantes knob are pretty cool and allows the driver to route each output (a total of eight) in each headphone ... or not (like the total mix RME). It's quite convenient for the live o you put the click in the headphones of all but the drummer and click Output faade.

OVERALL OPINION

I'm going to change because I want to spend the range suprieure (RME Fireface 800) but I'll keep it to carry around in the BPS or live.

The pramps are nice but not exceptional either, they will not ring your micro low-end but to scratch it is largely good.

With exprience so I Rasht, especially at the price of the argus today for less than 100 euros for a given connection is also rich.
