I was looking for a versatile and portable sound card.

I ended up changing Pc after an incompatible FireWire controller, attention, capricious beast is on the Texas Instrument chip FireWire not!

On a good laptop PC or a Mac there is no problem.

UTILIZATION

I've never had a crash outside the known problem of generic FireWire chip.
I'm working on ableton and Logic Audio.
The six line input plus two combo mic sound good practices,
Eight output unbalanced line clean.

Latency of 128 sample stable osx. You could stay at 32 and 64 according to the power of my stuff. But there are some swings in this case too with the effect.

Driver updated frequently

GETTING STARTED

Easy install on a bike compatible driver reboot and you're done.
Caution! Cuemix to its own logic, we must forget or tame, especially on the model fx ...

OVERALL OPINION

Nor do I use this card as a concert in six years. DO NOT BREAK SWITCHES OF A FRONT!, But it's solid .. Back in the U.S. sav mandatory two-month wait! And expensive ...

I would change soon for a rm, best known for its preamps. The motu is fine but the gain of the preamp and not always sufficient, with the breath forcibly.

Ever regreté this purchase, it got everywhere! Motu is a solid, clean sound, a format convenient self-powered, solid (except switches). A good semi-pro choice, before the plunge rm ;)
