Published on 06/23/13 at 14:06The converters have weighed very heavily in the selection. I hesitated with an apogee together. I use a Neve 1073 DPA, an Aphex 107 and Avalon U5 (in addition to four preamps RME).
UTILIZATION
No problem with the drivers. There is no latency. I make pieces that contain about 24 tracks in cooperation with 3 UAD-1 on a G5.
GETTING STARTED
I have often thought to take more powerful, but why. It works perfectly like that in Logic 8 and Mac OS 10.4.11.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for over a year and it is a joy. I had FIREPOD (nothing), a 9632 with RME cards in and out (much less ergonomic). Now, this is happiness, as soon as I turn it works without tangles. I'm not about to change my configuration.
