OVERALL OPINION
Right, well I use it now for just over a month.
It's really not bad at all.
The pramps plutt are warm and enjoyable, the ASIO driver seems well made and remains stable trs. Only li Firewire problem, not the map, dsynchronisations are unfortunately common with my laptop, but did not budge on my lap. I dduis that li-format connectors FW laptops that are of type 4-pin (mini) instead of a 6-pin turn.
So, has also raised the problem of electric power which is impossible in the 4-pin o autoaliment on the card is a 6-pin FW port.
It's a shame as this card is dedicated nomadism as having to walk around with a power strip and a power supply externally in addition to the laptop is not very convenient.
But I plan to buy an adapter PCMCIA / Firewire or PCI EXPRESS / Firewire (if a exists), which should rgler the problem. I'm just waiting for a 15aine days because I have to get a brand new DELL that I do not know what types of ports it has prcisment (not have much choice because it is a market to purchase li s public).
Remains a problem, the lack of second FW port on the card m ^ m. Indeed, if one uses the BTE with a laptop does not have HD trs fast (as is usually the case with HD 5400RPM laptop), it becomes tedious to work faile latency. So, you have to connect an external HD, and if it is not a USB2, Firewire is a forcment. However, laptops have rarely more than one FW port. Feedback, less than an HD possder be able to chain another prriphrique FW, we are stuck.
My HD FW possde this property since it has three connectors, one and two USB2 FW, a 6 and a 4 pin. Obviously, ct nomadism is the revert still increases because once again the weight and number of power supplies and cables.
But it's cool if plutt has internal HD speed.
Remains the midday duo I have yet to test and control functions that I have yet too few to judge achievement by the transport controls and jog wheel is trs agr able. I use the gear in Cubase 4, Live 7, and I test in SX2 no problem except that the wheel DPLA cursor SX2 measure by measure and I did not look further to see if we can change, but in C4, no problem, it is well dplace frame by frame. Probably a configuration problem in SX2, probably at the preferences of the Scrub or quantization, I do not know.

I used a lot of interfaces audionumriques over the last 10 years. I sold an X-Station 25 there is little to go on the FireOne. My X-Station silent incompatible with i915 chipset on my laptop and I regret but sold out of its synth section I could not use it so ... Since then, the FireOne has changed my life that do not have good keyboard Intgr but ultimately has not impede me as a particularly since I do audio and I use Groove Agent 1 and 3 for the rhythm. The synths, well, I record the guitar with what I want to hear them play later, and back to the studio, I replace the guitars tmoins by real synths, so I had going .
In my opinion, I ratio Q / P is a bit too low because the price is, when 40,000 m ^ m not analog. J'exagre a little is sr, but there are few prs m ^ m the benefit from the competition and finally a little cheaper.
Still, I long to me hsit DCID for this MODEL, and I think I would do the m ^ m if a choice is Submitted.
Finally, it is when m ^ m take into account what I said earlier about the lack of a second connector FW, which may lack some of the DCID prfrer a USB2 interface.
