Chosen for the Firewire port, midday connectivity, 2 headphone jacks (one that mutes the output HPs, the other not), sample rates up to 192 kHz, stability, and quality preamps.
I use it plugged in FW on a mac mini via a small adatptateur comes with the sound card in a home studio
UTILIZATION
The drivers seem stable, I get to 5/7 ms latency under Logic / Reaper / Guitar rig with qques audio tracks / VSTi
GETTING STARTED
Installation nickel, no bp, software installs (TC Near) to manage the config, routings, different plugs supplied with the card (compress, reverb & co). No inconsistency noted in Logic Pro / Reaper and various VST I use, plugs in or standalone. I'm not even sure I opened the manual ...
OVERALL OPINION
I use it regularly for 3 months, then headphones with monitor speakers, preamps seem good (headroom, little breath), and the map is stable from a software point of view. It seems super solid, well built, so I think I would buy this eyes closed. Q / P ratio pretty good
