I bought this card for its looks (a goes well with an iMac), for its reputable Intgr and its effects.
I finally I try, I get into the composition of an iMac 24 "with an e64 EMU, an Ensoniq TS10, a nylon line6 Variax guitar, bass, yamaha.
UTILIZATION
So here I bought this card dj 6 months ago, and trs quickly back to the store, I had that bug!
But when I repeated the same not having abandoned my FireOne, which worked great, for better sound and more of.
APRS 2 / 3 days Galare drivers, and about the results catastrophic, ie cut-ups, crunches, dcrochages, obligations restarting ... I shall decide to make a large format.
So reinstalled OSX + update 10.4.10, drivers 1.4 .. O, miracle, everything works perfectly!
GETTING STARTED
Submitted A, and for 3 days, the drivers are stable mchamment, but I am on my guard!
It works in Live 6, 128 samples of latency RULES 4.6m, even on a running 64 samples ...
The more I test must be between 15 and 20 runs over a lot of plugs, and nothing to say.
OVERALL OPINION
A week ago I have this card, and I am happy that finally, it works! And it works really well! The sound is excellent ... I really started realizing it, my ts10 synth sounds better through this card, the overall imaging is clearer and more prcis ... and then the DSP, I think There's really good.
The reverb is superb, raliste, and the compressor trs good. Systm is the rglages of spcial but Ralite trs effective. For example, to the compressor, no need to take the head with the ratio and the release, please choose the instrument you are entering, and it was RULES alone, you grate the APRS rest. In short, I am not a professional, but I'm starting to understand some things, and my ear tells me that this card is excellent!
I had to buy the Fireface 400, I'd be curious to compare trs ...
Besides, if someone can compare trs Object Table I'm all ears!
