Rack Console with 8-channel adapter Rackmount Alesis home. Takes about 6U.
This adapter is quite hard to find, I was lucky he drags one at Thomann.

Input 4 Jack / XLR (phantom power) Mono + 2 Stereo Jack. RCA effects loop, headphone Jack 6.3. Sampling up to 96kHz 24bit.

I do not use USB in the effect section does not work with this mode (that is wanted, it's not a bug) but it exists and works well.
They are mainly applicable only reverb and delay a human voice I think.

UTILIZATION

Installation is very simple USB driver for Windows plug-and-play for real.
Driver for 64bit Windows Seven available since early this year.

The manual is well done.

The table is friendly-user.

SOUNDS

It seems clear, but generates a lot of breath (for my taste) when the hardware sound quality is good so we put out the minimum acceptable we play hard and increases the sound

The equalization plays a role but is not parametric.

OVERALL OPINION

It is used for 2 years now first under XP 32bit and now in Seven in 64bits.
The latency displayed in the ASIO driver is higher in Seven but we do not tell the difference with XP.

This is the first such model that we use. I've used a few consoles DJ.

What I like most is its price and features and perfect for my use in groups with electronic drums and guitarist / bassist / vocalist connected to it (with or without effects).
I have not found an equivalent except in name "couillondaye" pseudo Halleumandeuh who likes to copy others.

What I like least is that on some computers, the sound processor and hard drives can be heard with increasing sampling frequency. I think it comes from the USB ports on the motherboard that are poorly insulated, because these sounds exist only connecting the USB table.

With experience and more money in my pocket I would buy one less prone to noise and problems with the USB mass of PC.

Otherwise, it's an excellent compromise before moving on professional equipment.

OVERALL OPINION

I use now for 1 year and I do not regret this purchase, it's perfect for beginners and can be used to record a small live concert, especially since it is USB 2.0 so it can true record 8 tracks simultaneously.
