Peavey announces the availability of the second generation of their FX hybrid mixers, with three 16, 24 and 32 channel models.
The Peavey FX2 mixer series doubles the processing power of the original FX mixers. The three mixers feature Silencer microphone preamps, 4 pre-fader auxiliaries per channel for monitoring mixing and two post-fader aux with which you can add internal or external effects.
Two DSP engines are also included on these new mixers, they allow for assigning multiple effects simultaneously via the 5/6 aux. They offer reverbs, delay, compressor, expander, de-esser, chorus, flanger, tube emulation, vocal enhancer and gate effects.
The digital output processing features a Feedback Ferret eliminator, two 5-band parametric EQ, two 28-band graphic EQ, digital delay lines and limiters/dynamics. The output section can be set to stereo, dual mono or subwoofer and an electronic crossover is included.
The Peavey FX2 mixers are equipped with two B-type USB 2.0 and one A-type USB ports, the latter allows for direct recording to a computer or a USB drive with a built-in MP3 compression system.
Each mixer also features 100mm faders, 48V fantom power, 4 sub-groups, 3-band EQ with sweepable mids and variable low-cut filters.
