Topic Clarett 8pre MIDI Issue
Hi.
I'm new to this forum.
I bought a Clarett 8pre last week. The audio works fine but the midi doesn't!
I'm working on a one year old macbook pro, osx El capitan.
I can't find the device in the Midi studio app neither in Ableton live.
I wonder if i'm doing something wrong but really I have never done anything connecting any other sound card to my computer. They simply worked!
I have a Saffire 26 I/O. The control software is a bit slow now but it still works anyway with all my stuff!
I wrote to the focusrite support but I got no answer yet. I have some work to do so I'm writing here hoping to save some time.

Hope you guys can help me.

P.S.:
I'm Italian, hope my english is clear enough :D:

What was the problem? I have something similar abviously :??:

It was the driver. They gave me a link to a beta driver version wich is not on the official download page yet.

This is a known bug that we have now resolved with the latest version of Focusrite Control, you can download that here:
