Clarett 8pre MIDI Issue

Hi.
I'm new to this forum.
I bought a Clarett 8pre last week. The audio works fine but the midi doesn't!
I'm working on a one year old macbook pro, osx El capitan.
I can't find the device in the Midi studio app neither in Ableton live.
I wonder if i'm doing something wrong but really I have never done anything connecting any other sound card to my computer. They simply worked!
I have a Saffire 26 I/O. The control software is a bit slow now but it still works anyway with all my stuff!
I wrote to the focusrite support but I got no answer yet. I have some work to do so I'm writing here hoping to save some time.
Hope you guys can help me.

I'm Italian, hope my english is clear enough

What was the problem? I have something similar abviously
