Since upgrading to a Windows 10 machine the sound periodically appears to change bitrate/KHz settings as the sound appears to be 'stretching' out and being played back slower giving the audio a 'Dalek' like quality.

My gut tells me this happens when I do something that causes windows to play a system sound (also when selecting an already open browser)

Have update drivers but no effect

Any ideas anyone ?
