Hi
I have a Focusrite 2i4 connected to a laptop, which is intern midi'd to an electric drum module.
The laptop runs Addictive Drums 2 so when I play a pad, the midi triggers a sound in AD2 which in turn sends the sound out of the 2i4 to a mixer. All in 2ms. A latency so small I cannot detect it when playing.
Yesterday Window 10 (64bit) updated. Running AD2 today with my drums and the latency was unbearable. AD2 reported the latency at 10ms, but I suspect it is wrong. It was unplayable.
I downloaded the Focusrite 2i4 driver and reinstalled it. Restarted the laptop and the issue was still there. I rebooted several times to no avail. WHat was a perfect setup was ruined by Win10 updating.
Anyone else experienced this? Did you work out how to fix it?

Hi Dobly,
Please check your buffer size in the ASIO Control Panel or in Addictive Drums 2. Please also ensure that you are on the Focusrite driver as the latest Windows Update includes a class compliant Windows Audio Driver so you may need to manually assign the driver. In order to do this please go to your Device Manager > Expand Sound, Video & Game Controllers > Right click Focusrite USB Audio > Update Driver Software... > Browse my computer for driver software... > Let me pick... > Click on Focusrite USB Audio > Click 'Next' > Click 'Close'
