Configuration is very simple I use a RME UC.
I do not need manual user since my Atari .. but I look for any new qq tutorials on the web.
The E licencer has always been impeccable stability. ca food + a usb one license I lock + card + one for one to drive a torpedo ... I regret not having kept a Firewire port in passing ...

Using cubase is a bit heavy .. if you work for shortcuts without you lose spontaneity.
the criteria for research halion sounds using a small search window is far from convincing ... I lost too much time.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Config HP laptop (Pavilion of me ..!) The ventilos are too noisy!
Rams and 12 GB HDD 1 Tera
Config installed 64-bit (some farewell VSTi which was very good and are not replaced with hindsight ..)
Stable if a VTS Bridge steinberg which he alone can crash anterior projects ... I am forced to kill the bridge in the task manager to retrieve the previous projects sometimes re recorded in cubase 6.5.4 then close and re-open the project (i generelement a former VST increasingly recognized not present on the PC) .
Puree it is long to open the program and launch a project! say's an era I could afford to load projects for live performances and audio sequences, something that will be impossible to this day ...
OVERALL OPINION
Daily use for audio input + sequences
I tried other things inappropriate for me ... and Tolls Pro is out of my budget because of global Syteme that I will invest for it tempts me.
But I think value for money is ... bof; ago today bcp concurences softwares which seems to be much less expensive to level, I do not certainly refererais this choice even if I have to relearn everything ... but it is a debate that has not place in this notice
The windowing project'm tired, so definitely need a dual screen display or LED work comfortably, do not be my error with this kind of mobile version ... it seems that the V7 promises to be better, but aesthetically I find it pathetic when you see that some plug in to offer quality graphics, plus ca will make certain functions more fun ... I regret that steinberg does not make this leap that could make it a soft edge is ... even though I too like most line 6 graphics do they know, like Toontrack and many others ...
There is no good after to say about the sound quality of the possibilities of working with Cubase ... although some have been able to grow VST, others are in my opinion are far from the level for this kind of app (yuck VST Amp Rack / the Multicomp which is nothing complicated) Bravo for reverbs / modulations me like a little stingy Halion the base I necessarily add the sound options for at least one base worthy ... then holes are plug ins that I happily filled You with nomad factory qq well chosen to magnify a mix master.
Good even when I have to take an upgrade to V7 esthetisque despite its more questionable history ... to go with my choice after my current config + PC Card. I'll see if 2013 is the year of change
