Just pay attention to the preferences compendre Audio and MIDI and audio drivers.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Config: iMac 27 "(2009) Intel Core 2 Duo 3.33 GHz 8GB DDR3 RAM.
Audio interface / midi Edirol UA-20.
No major concern. Only Addictive Drum (VST) requires launching Cubase 32bit.
I never pushes the cap too far
- 2 or 3 audio tracks
- 5 MIDI tracks max.
I am once 8 audio tracks (Cubase 5), and this was the road.
OVERALL OPINION
I use Cubase for ages (I started on the Atari 1024, is saying!)
I've never tried anything else except a little Garage Band (Apple).
I do not see myself changing software, but I'm not a pro!
