Ive recently decided to get a load of new equipment in, i want a new soundcard but am not sure which one to go for, atm i have a stock soundcard built in motherboard, which works ok, but obviously nothing compared to others, i was looking at an EMU 1212m..


but yeah, my question is, i want to be able to make beats using samples, live instruments, vocals, and midi, is there a program that supports all of this? i know reason wont allow live inst and vocals, it allows samples but only when there chopped a lot, are there any other programs that are good for what i need?

also with that soundcard, thats kind of my price range for a soundcard, are there any others that would work better for around the same price (i dont mind if its like 20-30 dollars over or so but thats about it lol)
