It is very comprehensive, toured the site of KORG

UTILIZATION

We can not get any easier in handling. It's very intuitive (it's a KORG not forget) and the manual is useful only for one or two technical things.
For people who have (or have owned) a Electribe, changes from previous will be more glaring. A lot of little things that make life easier. Personally, I love being able to record while playing a patern whereas before we had to stop. (No more lost pieces in full live)

SOUNDS

A net improvement in the side of KORG and it's very significant.
The sound is much less dry than before. For those who want more, there are two lights that send too much but USE WITH CAUTION! Indicators SPEED saw very red but it works well in moderation.

OVERALL OPINION

I had an EM-1 and the transition to the EMX-1 was like a rebirth. The design aspect is superb, the handling excellent, the sound less metallic KORG wanted to make very hard with this new generation and manages to put the bar very high.
Frankly confirmed for beginners, this machine you like (to try to adopt it).
A very good investment.
