<span style="text-decoration: underline;">REVIEW:</span>
The pedal is small, sturdy, metal box, the switch is solid and well damn knobs. Clearly seen leaving HP. One can hardly do better. 10/10
UTILIZATION
<ul>
The general configuration is simple?
</ul>
The settings are basic: a 3-band EQ (High, Mid, Low), a Level and Gain. Nothing really complicated.
<ul>
Editing sounds and effects is easy?
</ul>
Yes, the blow! <img class="smiley" src="/images/audiofanzine/interface/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt="" />
<ul>
The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
</ul>
Yes, because it is totally unnecessary.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;">
REVIEW:</span> Really nothing wrong, nothing exotic or surprising. Simple and effective. 10/10
SOUND QUALITY
<ul class="ul">
The effects are they effective, responsive and realistic enough?
</ul>
Efficient: Yes
Suitable: for records rather rock, hard rock, a little aggressive for the blues (quoique. ..), not enough for the big metal bleeding (although)
Realistic so I do not know the JCM800 (or more accurately, I have not tried) but this pedal was in the belly. It is far from the disto "fiddle" cartonesques home Digitech or Boss. Here, we're really in the quality above (even if it is in the same price range): the grain is credible and sound as the gain range broad enough to allow some flexibility.
<ul class="ul">
Which instruments do you use?

2 configurations:
Configuration 1: Guitar (LTD MH400NT LH) / TN M1 / Input Amplifier (Ibanez Valbee)
Configuration 2: Guitar / TN M1 / Return of the Amp
<ul class="ul">
Which ones do you prefer, you hate?
</ul>
In configuration 1, I am obliged to put the volume pot of acute to 1 otherwise, the sound is really super loud. I do not know if this is a fault of the pedal or my stuff but this is what it is. I get to draw blues sounds a bit upset very nice, with properly inflated mediums as I like. Not essential or ultimate trick but very respectable.
In configuration 2, the slap! A sound that kills, full, with a dynamic super interesting, not much sustain (with my stuff again), but "guts" and beery ... Happiness and, oddly, no problem too sharp present.

REVIEW:</span>
Undeniably, this pedal is made to be used as a preamp. In OD pedal / Disto simple, it will give a nice color to your plans crunch / od. 7 / 10
OVERALL OPINION

</ul>
No, this is my first model of this brand.
<ul class="ul">
What is your opinion about the value for the price?
</ul>
Good to very good. Paid about € 110, slightly less than one or Tech21 Boss COSM sound a priori equivalent or better.
<ul class="ul">
Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? ...
</ul>
Yes and no, it is very interesting for use in pre-amp but is a bit expensive and not necessarily indispensable OD pedal.
In the end, I put 7 / 10.
