The JMP-1 preamp is a noon lamps (2Xecc83) equipped with four switchable channels (2 clean sounds and clean2 clean1-and-2-OD1 and OD2 distos-. It also has a 4-band EQ for each channel, a master volume, a knob gain and an output volume of knob.
Note qqu'il patch has 100 programmable memories and driven by noon.
At the rear, the connection is the most comprehensive: a stereo output, 1 output stereo emulated HP, all connections noon (in, out, through) and the outlet.
The JMP1 is on the comprehensive plan both in the connections that the number of channels and its possibilities through technology Midi.

UTILIZATION

I bought my JMP1 of OCCAZ 'and I did not have manual. Yet the sound is easily obtained! The only problem I encounter is the driving evening. I want to ride my ToneLab SE avce and I do not arive at the moment (on the other hand it's been a week since I That a time and tried to make contact .. .). Otherwise find its appropriate and save it is very easy for little fingers that is!

SOUNDS

I play modern rock, muscular but not metal and JMP1 gives me the right note ...
I was using before the ToneLab SE uniquemnt disots but did not suit me, it was too artificial and there I plug the JMP1, I press forward and OD2 guingamp!! The distortion is fat but precise, rich in harmonics ... I fall short ... As for the clear ons I can not find them bad from what I've read before. They are very transparent, it's true. It gives one the impression of a simulated acoustic and I found it interesting. The move from a creamy crunch (to SRV) to overdrive worthy of acdc!!
Going back to the disto fabulous (the real Marshall sound you hear on all skeuds but we never found ...), maybe my gear also helps a little. I plug in either my Gibson Les Paul Classic Premium Plus is my PRS CE 24 and JMP1 enters a Marshall 9200 power amp (with 12 lights) so I think it always plays for the harmonic s and sounds bold but well-defined .

OVERALL OPINION

I use it so soon for a week and I'm a fan of this preamp.
I love saa disto, versatility, ease of use and fucking her give me!
I had a lot of amp (fender, marshall transistor preamp ToneLab) and I never found or heard this sound coming from my 1960A!!
I bought it at auction for 200E and I made the best deal in the world ... "Yes, but it has mesa boogie nothing to do" ... To those who say that I say that a msa is 7-8 times more expensive than two, I played on the mesa (MARK4 correct and dual), it is clear that powerful heavy fat but the sound of rock music I like, especially if the grain I have found that with my JMP1. In fact many great guitarists have not cheated, I think that john5 studio uses only JMP1 and do not tell me that the distortion is low because it was still playing live "the beautiful people" with the JMP1. Metallica through Judas Priest or at home in France DHAM, the sound is killer marshall and JMP1.
