It is used only as a stomp. It is not compatible with an editor PC / MAC. There is an Input and Output. Nothing else.
UTILIZATION
Configuration is very simple. In addition, we give four examples of adjustments that are, in my opinion, the only interesting. What makes things even easier.
SOUND QUALITY
It is remarkably effective when it comes to the heavy / aggressive. The effect itself stands not a distortion Mesa Engineering, but is still the effect on stage.
I use it mainly with an Ibanez RG350DX WH, what makes it interesting. I also use it with a Cort X-6. The Mighty Might of the Infinity Cort and Ibanez are the passive pickups. Since these microphones are not very good microphones, the sound sometimes lacks aggressiveness. However, with a Hamer Slammer Series Stratocaster Limited edition, the Duncan Design sound great (even if they are passive).
OVERALL OPINION
Distortion pedal I use this for a year now. I tried many model in a specialty store in Paris before making my choice. It turns out that this choice was difficult: I hesitated between the Boss and the famous Mégadistortion Metal Core. Some wonder: "why the Metal Core and not the other?" The only thing I found to answer is: "There I had to choose !..."
I often wonder if I should not have done better to buy another. It's really subjective choice of a distortion.
In short, in all cases the value is almost excellent. =)
A little advice guitarist, take a look at the "Twin Tube Mayhem Seymour Duncan home. It is a tube distortion for the "True Metal".
