UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY

I use this pedal for a year and a prs, after having had a ds 1, ds2 boss (who, I think, sent not enough distortion, not enough power) and a big muff electro Harmonix I only use the little grunge like distortion, I use it with the ds 2 in suplement for lead channel, but even without aditional pedal, it goes pretty good for solos.
I use it on a mustang fender amp and a fender amp field with XD 25 as jag stang guitar with a Seymour Duncan SH4 JB in bridge and a micro strat good quality set, I plug in the fender XD25 and the field is the sound Kurt Cobain, it is therefore perfect for Nirvana ..
I also used a Gibson Les Paul faded and is the sound system of a down slipknot up, steve vai, van halen etc. ..

I have over the past year, I gain some pedals (ds1, ds2, bigmuff) to finally stay on if it's even more polivalente people think just by looking at its name ..

Well, it's a distortion, we agree. 'Do not expect to find here an overdrive, a nice little vintage sound or other: it's modern, it's digitech.

UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY

Okay so that's where I reveal my true opinion, in all its subjective.
I personally find that the term "Grunge" is rather usurped, because the sounds are strongly reminiscent of the mtal available and not much else!

I play on the fender bbte with a neutral sound quality and suitable for the big sound, and expresses sounds heavy and sharp, but remain (in pertinant apply settings) nanmoins prcis.

Basically I would advise to use the grunge mtalleux for use exclusively, and because sutout occasional sounds tired rather quickly (link if possible with another type boss pedal to vary a bit) and lacking in personality. I prefer sharp and shrill sounds (for example solos, and a bit of shred) it can give.

I play it the pedal on a 1 / 4 ibanez body and of course it's not the kind of sound you would expect most would run this kind of scratch so I am not required if trs ca sounds a little box, it's also my fault =)

Overall, a purchase trs interresting.

I use it now for 2 ½ months. I'm happy.

I like the sound of the pedal up, sounds pretty good too chirurgiquaux typs, modern, and sometimes a bit "cardboard": - /

Regularly try a lot of pedals, and I must admit that it's done everything seemed cool (79 euros on thomann, it's not a very big investment). report qualitprix trs correct.

UTILIZATION

Very simple setup, plug and it works, battery or transformer ... Even no buttons on.off, it 's lighter when the cable.
I do not use it with a guitar, I'm not, I plugged in my home studio with my Drum and my 303 TB, it is starting to affect my mixer.

Okay so first the pedals is ugly. It is said.
APRS good ben two outputs, a simulation hp 4 * 12 inches, practice studio.
4 knobs, a rugged, heavy pedals instead.

UTILIZATION

It is the distortion is not rev hard to use. 2 knobs for the Tone (Bass / Treble), a gain knob, a volume. It blows a lot and the noise gate may be necessary if you ca drang (I like my breath ^^)...

Bah it especially as grain, trs aggressive and annoying rather quickly. You may need another in complment pedals, overdrive like a more discreet.

SOUND QUALITY

For sound, I agree with some comments below: do not expect to make the metal with this pedal. I use it with two Great, a classic player 60 Mex Start and a Gibson LP faded (P90 pickups). Start with, I get good grainy distortion. The sound is fat enough without choking on the type of Great and you can even play with the switch on the guitar, it has a real effect. There, the knob "grunge" has a noticeable effect.
With Gibson, it's gone. A high level with a big gain. Saturated sound very strong, but with less grain strangely. This is probably due to the level of the Great.
Behind, I have a Classic 30 and frankly, I do not find the sound if it's digital. It's very good to make some big rock or pop rock solo supported.

I use it for one month now. I needed this pedal because the distortion of the classic 30 does not suit the stratum and on the gibson, I had a very significant grain on some pieces, but inappropriate in others. I wanted a pedal offering more grain but without going into the field of metal. I am totally delighted. I could throw my zoom g2 distos which were more like a 56k modem than anything else. I recommend players to rock / pop-rock but I recommend to metalheads. Also, try here because I think she may not agree with all the guitars.

This is a good distortion pedal. It can do from heavier blues to metal. It has a Volume Knob, a Bass Knob, a Tone Knob, and a Gain Knob (labeled Grunge). Despite it's name, this is NOT a pedal for Grunge. This is more of a metal pedal in my opinion.
It has an Input, and two outputs. One is for the amp, and the other has Cabinet simulation for direct input to a mixing console.

UTILIZATION

This is an easy pedal to use. The manual comes with suggested settings, but they're really only a ballpark figure. It's a little difficult to get a good tone out of this pedal, but very easy to get a bad one. Too much treble and it become a harsh, fizzy mess. It gets muddy very easy as well. The Grunge knob controls the gain. It can go from a heavy blues style OD if EQ'd right, to a bass heavy, screaming, metal distortion.

SOUND QUALITY

This pedal sounds great for a $50 pedal. It can get very harsh and muddy very quick though. It takes a little playing with to dial in right because the knobs are sensitive. When dialed in right, it is a good metal distortion. It is really trebley though. You have to back up on the treble on the pedal and your amp when using this thing. It is also very very loud. This is NOT the best metal pedal around. It sounds decent enough, but there are pedals who do it and do it better. The amount of treble present in this thing is amazing. It takes a little bit to learn where to set it so it's not harsh and fizzy, but also not muffled and too bassy.

OVERALL OPINION

This is a decent pedal, but it's downfall is the amount of treble present in it. It has way too much treble. I used it to play Thrash, and it just wasn't cutting it. It can hold it's own against a BOSS MT-2, but it fails against anything else. It's very easy to make it Harsh and Fizzy. It's too easy to find a bad tone in it. If the dialed out some treble in it, it would be a great pedal. But as it stands, there are better in the price range than this.
