Distortion pedal, analog
Connectors: In, Out, DC 9V to 18V. Housing indestructible.
UTILIZATION
6 knobs: volume, drive, and 4 mini-pots for acute severe + medium saturation.
Many possibilities for fine adjustments and interactions between them: the exploration may take time, and each change of setting is audible.
The setting (not recommended by Fulltone) of two internal trim pots has not solved the excess low that I blamed him.
The manual provides succinct qq examples for the rest up to you
SOUND QUALITY
It gives a distortion in thick, warm, serious and creamy. This reminds me of Santana or the tone of Clapton.Et woman on high settings I would almost say "Fuzz". No slight crunch really available, unless you turn down the volume of the guitar, to which the pedal responds very well also. No sharp distortion in the program, the Association of the molten metal will look elsewhere.
I used a Fender Blues Junior. With wolfgang marriage does not really suit me, too dull and runny. With one strat bcp is better, I also concluded that the DP is likely better with simple microphones. (My opinion)
Overall, a soft, rather vintage, with low (too) plump and treble more discreet. But a beautiful expression, beautiful harmonics and can play the guitar volume. So if you like your sound very round, try this
OVERALL OPINION
I got it a year and then sold because even if the quality was undeniable, I found more suited to my tastes with OCD and fulldrive, or even a Jekyll & Hyde. I was a bit disappointed for a Fulltone ..
Maybe did I not done justice by playing really pushed hard on an amp at the time I repeated less often.
Qd even try it!
