Hiwatt Tube Hi Gain Distortion

Hiwatt tube pedal with the foot switch.
The pedal has:

- A level knob (for the output level)
- A knob to adjust the low frequency ... low (ahem)
- A Treble knob for treble
- A knob for adjusting the Middle mediums

- And the most interesting!! A knob frequency control middle! Is the enormous innovation of this pedal.


Side connection, all confined to one input / output jack and a plug (supplied)

UTILIZATION

When you plug your pedal, you sound pretty average ... it will require a little adjustment on your part (about 5-10min). Once you find your sound is that of PUR happiness!

The middle frequency selection is a bonus! You can go from a very heavy / hard rock, its a very typical New Metal, Death Metal clicking in very acute and powerful in the bass ... Finally, you do what you want in terms of choice, although limited to any distortion.


Of course, remember that after the amp and cab you use to change his will, but you will get the same kind of result that at the base!

SOUND QUALITY

I currently play on a Fryette (VHT) Sig-x. So far I swore that the distortion from my amp up a friend in the music store where I go frequently, so me and put me with a fait accompli ... It's a missile, period!

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it about 2 weeks ago. This is an absolute novelty that starts just on the market.

I experimented with pedal Boss, Line 6, Hughes & Kettner etc etc ... So much that I was not very keen on the idea to try it and I'll have more the impression of wasting my time ... It is not so!


Level value, it is an investment for sure! But what a great investment.
I really recommend to all guitarists Big Metal and focused at all points of view!
