Soul Drive features a NOS 12AU7 tube and is signature hand made paper in oil caps, as well as WIMA film caps. No electrolytic caps were used in the construction of this box and all circuitry is hand wired point to point using silver solder in North Collins, New York. Controls are Volume, Tone, Gain, Tone Bypass Switch, Power On/Off Switch, and True Bypass Stomp (standby/on). Soul Drive is described as a versatile pedal that can be used for guitar, bass, or even keyboards.
According to its creator, it can be used in any musical situation involving electric instruments and amplifiers, where the player is interested in getting “a warmer, thicker, more organic sound.”
