Excellent
4 EQ pedal: level, low, high, middle, and freq distortion. The Freq is a filter that can dig the mediums. The knob are super efficient (do not turn to the bottom to hear a difference, just a millimeter).
The pedal is super light, despite a quite large. Of course one IN and one OUT and one AC power socket on the right side of the battery pédale.Si you prefer, there are a trap pedal (so no need to get out the screwdriver). This pedal is very are completed by the above EQ Freq very, very effective and can adapt to any amp (I use this pedal on a Fender Frontman 212R and freq me instead, gives you the rate of catch shiny fender) and cherry on the cake: a beautiful blue LED highly visible.
UTILIZATION
This pedal is fairly easy to use. I say fairly because you have enough play especially knob Low, middle and Freq to find his sound, but this is the case only a few minutes for someone who knows how to use an EQ. But as I said previously it will fit perfectly amp types. Access to the battery is also simple so this pedal should not be a problem on that side.
SOUND QUALITY
The is another story but what is extraordinary is that this pedal does not release any breath. If you use a guitar with double micro (such as TV with my signature John 5) this pedal you out of the big large metal (death, black or grind) with a very typical Slayer. The sound is to be as sharp as a razor and very cold, the sound of pantera or slayer, in this case forget the maiden or metallica (a hand if you're a fan of the album ... And Justice For All) personally I m ' not like any of this sound too aggressive, he became very rough inaudible even try all possible settings. This is my personal opinion but a fan of extreme metal or the MXR dime 11 will enjoy.
For use with against a single coil pickup, this pedal is wonderful (I use it with a TV and a Joe Strummer signature Stratocaster mex standard). This pedal is much more versatile to make hard (Black Sabbath) of heavy ( metallica, iron maiden) and even every other style of metal. I even used to play rock to the foo fighters and smashing Pumpking. The sound will appear much more accurate and clean with a warm side.
I put 9 of leaving one side slightly synthetic shame, but I will not be penalized for a personal opinion of taste.
OVERALL OPINION
I recommend this addition to using a single coil guitar equip even if ar is paradoxical for the metal must be double. but it will delight all the metalhead fan of Black Sabbath was one of mayhem. I definitely recommend this pedal. J'aiu all try boss MT-2, ml-2, Digitech metal master, Rocktron Zombie .... and I find my happiness with the metal planet (77 euros on thomann). Excellent value for money. The only pedal that rivals EHX metal muff is to be a bit vintage but I would do will this choice.
