Electro-Harmonix announces the return of its Bad Stone phase shifter pedal from the 70 in a more compact, pedalboard-friendly format.
The EHX Bad Stone 2015 edition retains the original circuit from the 70s model, to which Electro-Harmonix added a touch of modernity. You’ll find the original variable feedback and six stages of phase shifting, as well as a manual mode that allows for « freezing » the phase.
The new Bad Stone features three knobs : Rate sets the phase change speed, Feedback determines the effect depth and Manual Shift, along with the switch, allows for manual freeze.
The pedal is also equipped with a status LED, a true bypass footswitch and you can power it with a 9V battery or an adapter.
US street price is set below $100, visit www.ehx.com for more info.
