Everything has already been said. See previous reviews so ...
The big advantage from my point of view is the number of speaker outputs (2 in / / per channel)
that connects two stereo speakers or 4 mono. on the other hand, no presence control
and other subtleties of the genre but is it relevant to a transistor amplifier?
No possibility of either "bridge" the outputs.
1U and very reasonable weight which is a big advantage.
UTILIZATION
Setup could not be more simple. No settings if this is the volume per channel so no need to take
the head to use it. Obviously should not do anything at notament impedances of speakers. But as long as the impedance per channel does not drop below 4 ohms, there's no worries.
The only downside is the noise which is annoying ventillos for use a (very) low volume apartment.
SOUNDS
I use this amp with a power-Tech21 PSA1, TC GMajor and baffles or 2 * 12 4 * 12 marshall.
Compared to my head JCM900 which I used only the power section, I find the sound more defined
+ and respects the grain of the preamp on sounds notament typed marshall (ironic, no?)
As against the clean sounds lose some heat but in part, against the effects are more intelligible. I also rediscovered my GMajor who really gives its full potential in a
config stereo (nothing to do!)
OVERALL OPINION
I bought it months ago qq. I had hesitated qq years ago thinking he was a little notament right level power. So, I had a 100W head lamps. Then I decided to take a chance and told me that at worst it would for the home (mistake) or if the pb with the head lamps. Qq after repeated tests, I replaced the JCM900 by Rocktron. The power output is more than enough for me (half volume in groups of rock / metal drummers with noisy). Do not hesitate to push the volume of the preamp on the other hand (a kind of clean and check that it does not saturate the input of Poweramp). So I m'economise transporting a head of twenty kg, with its powerful enough, qq little different but not worse, but happiness ... In addition, there's not much Poweramp in this price range. Purchase reasonable and practical.
