Ernie Ball adds to its catalog its first Aluminum Bronze string sets for acoustic guitars, with a choice of four sets.
The Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze strings have a steel hex core, the Aluminum Bronze is reserved to the wrap wire. According to the manufacturer, these strings offer more projection and brightness than traditional Bronze strings and the use of aluminum reduces their corrosion.
The Aluminum Bronze strings for acoustic guitars are available in Extra Light (.010 – .050), Light (.011 – .052), Medium Light (.012 – .054) and Medium (.013 – .056) sets.
