Can't decide on a bolt on or thru neck bass? There are very valid reasons and facts to support and oppose both neck styles - Ansir Music says it has what may be the solution with the "Bolt-Thru Neck System".
Ansir Music says it has combined the best of both worlds, and wrote:
“We start with one of our precision built custom necks, and then join the neck to our body, using our proprietary neck joint system. The difference being in the body design. We construct our bodies in a three piece construction method. The center of the body is a solid block of an exotic wood of choice i.e. Bubinga or Wenge’, the upper and lower wings are constructed of another exotic wood of choice. What is created is a seamless solid center with a premium neck solidly attached.”
“We have tested this process using various methods and what was discovered was as follows: sustain and tone of a thru neck with the consistency and no dead spots of a bolt on.”
“Ansir Music does not stop there all of our bodies are of a radical design change. Each and every body is hand carved and layered with various exotic woods. We use only the finest exotic tone woods we can find. We go directly to a major wood distribution center and painstakingly pick through the exotic woods until we find the best of what is offered. The combination of this creates a truly enjoyable if not amazing playing experience.”
The base price is $2,000.
