It offers tuner and metronome functions that can be used separately or simultaneously. For practice and capturing riffs or song ideas, the TMR50 is also equipped with a built-in mic and speaker, linear PCM recording functionality and a USB port for transferring recordings to a computer. A large, backlit LCD plus bright guide LEDs offer visual feedback designed to be visible under stage lighting or at home.
The tuner and metronome section includes capabilities designed to help players improve their sense of pitch and rhythm. Sound Out Mode provides three octaves of audio pitches, enabling stuning by ear. Sound Back mode plays back the note closest to the pitch that’s detected for embouchure and pitch training. The metronome section provides multiple rhythm patterns and nine time signatures for an array of practice options.
