«  True Hardwire Bypass ... »

Published on 06/06/14 at 06:29
Everything has been said, only it should be noted that this new version (after 2013 a priori) do not have the same quality as the old one.
To dissociate the old the new, you must return the pedal and watch the inscriptions. If indications (instrument, boost etc. ..) are written horizontally: then this is the oldest and best.
Otherwise, if it is written to the vertical with white rubberized covering just the scriptures then it is new ... Not impressed (see ci_dessous).

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use. Boost very useful and the choice between 2 fasel is really cool.
However, it should provide space on the pedalboard to gain access to these buttons and do not fit the 48.

SOUND QUALITY

The big problems come here.
I bought the new version and made it the next day.
Why? It is not at all clear ... When it is not enabled, you lose a lot of acute frequencies. I JVM410C an amp that is highly crystalline. I found myself with an average amp range in two seconds just by plugging this pedal.

I tried using a buffer more. The difference is less noticeable but still if you are addicted to your clean.
The same for the distortion: you lose a lot of harmonics.

I returned to the store and was able to test the old version in demo. The bypass is much better on the old version. Damage that expo was too damaged ...

Shame ... The effect itself is very good.

OVERALL OPINION

I have not tried many models.
The crybaby base is far too gaudy for me.
This, once triggered effect is very good. Too bad it filters both the bypass mode ....

In short, avoid the new version.
