SOUND QUALITY

Very good sound quality. This is just my second wah, before I had a Jimmy Hendrix signature that I had not kicked at all, and I was quickly sold.

UTILIZATION

Global settings are simple and accessible at the foot with respect to the activation of moan. For the rest, the knobs are large and clear. 3 different modes and Moan who rule in his corner. The magnitude of the effect is good and generous, sensitive to foot it responds well and quickly. Fun!
I used the automatic activation wahs (Morley Tremonti and CryBaby GCB95Q) with spring return for disengagement, so I struggled to get used to this type of operation more rustic! I have never used in concert.

SOUND QUALITY

Level sound is super clean and the 3 modes are radically different! Honors modes Classic and Bass (bassists are happy beings: it swinge A LOT!). The moan is capricious: it uses the wah to lead it quickly becomes unmanageable and too aggressive! I use it mostly for clean or crunch sound effect as much fuzz and wah gives it its typical styles of rock to Three Doors Down.
Small flat for the use of the wah clean: it modulates the volume, which made it feel playing with a volume knob and you hear nothing when the wah is in serious ... In the end I use the wah in two ways:

OVERALL OPINION

I for 1 year but I use it just because I find it quite exotic and impractical to live when you have the habit of wahs "intuitive" as Morley Cry or to enable / disable auto. You have to push the wah effect to cut back sharply, this is not musical so it is necessary to lower the volume from the guitar at the same time to do a fade. The other alternative is to use a volume pedal or provide a switchable loop. I have not tested the wah in the effects loop, I still live branch.

The use of the two effects together gives about the results convincing trs. The ide las conceptaurs the pedals at the top had no doubt: it solo as the Black Cat offers the best of itself!

OVERALL OPINION

I use the Black Cat for almost a year, and I routinely congratulates. For a modest price, it combines a good wah and a boost trs typ which can give a lot of characters to the sound. In comparison with other models, I cot range of Cry Baby and Vox (even if the dynamics are lgrement worse), well above the Boss PW-10 . Nothing against a see Morley level purity of sound, but that's not what we're looking forcment with Wah-Wah.

For € 80 on ebay I think it's a fair price, € 135 parcontre store I find the price a little abused, both take a 535Q for that price. Rocktron is a good brand for a price slightly cheaper than the brand leader, so I think I can remake that choice.

UTILIZATION

Usage is very simple:

SOUND QUALITY

OVERALL OPINION

If there were only mode Tri-wah, this pedal would sail quietly through the calm waters of the vintage wah.
The effect "moan" brings a real wild ct wah that this would be almost without too wise. On a good distortion, solo attention to the flaming cat nerv!

To my knowledge, Rocktron is the only manufacturer to offer a wah that makes Maow.
