Vox Amplification introduced the V846-HW Wah Wah pedal, designed to pay homage to the original Wah Wah pedal.
The internal circuitry of the V846-HW uses no printed circuit boards.
The diecast body features a sandblasted exterior with crepe finish. The V846-HW uses a specially voiced vintage-spec Halo type inductor. The magnetic core material and winding are designed to ensure the reproduction of the original V846's wah sound. The potentiometer is a Vox original. Carbon composite resistors are used along with polyester film condensers.
Designed as the Wah Wah pedal for the tone purist, the V846-HW provides a true bypass circuit. Power is provided by a single 9-Volt battery.
Pricing & Availability:
The Vox V846-HW Wah Wah pedal is currently available for $329.00.
