Duesenberg vibrato: a beautiful face and it not tune the guitar (even the G string)

UTILIZATION

It is a marvel: the handle is perfect.
It is a bit heavy due to the size but not more than a solid body of solid wood. It does not prevent me from playing more than 4 hours in a row without dropping out (while I tired after half an hour with my Cort Artisan B4).

SOUNDS

I use it with a VT30 or directly via the sound kord ax1000g: I get clear sound and powerful slap, round and warm sound, great for crunches. I found this guitar on all the sounds I was looking for (after trying other well-known brands ... maybe too familiar?)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two months, but I already played on a TV Starplayer (including microphones and acastillage are identical) and I can not sleep anymore.

I tried various shift box which I still have some gripes (including the high end), especially in terms of finishes.

The Duesenberg is ultra neat, down to the smallest detail: the knobs are not those found on low-end guitars (as is the case for cetraines brands) and are not likely to use the pick guard style "art deco", follows the shape of the guitar is topped by a metallic bar with the trademark symbol, like vibrato both massive and worked (adjustable in length), the selector is heavy and solid and produces an elegant "clack".

I had not ever seen the mechanical system: the fate behind the head string (finite strings soil / if / you fall half in the fingers). Grover's my cheap Washburn are next to those. Even the mechanical design is worked.

Exceptional value for money in my opinion (I almost had recoiled trying another scratch of a great brand, the price was double, wondering if the seller was not mistaken in the picking).

I can not say that I like the most: aesthetics, sounds, finish, handling ... everything is as wanted.

I would do this choice, of course, without the slightest hesitation.

Come visit the "hall of fame" Duesenberg: a European brand that appeals to guitarists across the Atlantic ... there's a real reason for that.

Guitar German, half-cash (cash or quarter for the purists ...).

UTILIZATION

Well it's quite heavy, it is not an alder tl .....
Equivalent weight of a Les Paul or a 335. 335 the same template.
The hoop is perfect, the guitar is perfectly RULES book.
Gnral comfort is good, however it is not a guitar for crazy speed. Rather a guitar to play with the guts or sensiblilit.
CSTA is quite difficult to acute, but not more than 335.
We feel that the dj in acoustic guitar sound and the sustain is good.

SOUNDS

Then it's fabulous. The best guitar I recently jou far. Yet I have tried tons wanting to dpart a Gibson. In fact, I sold an old Les Paul for me to pay and without regrets.
Defines how the sounds so the range is wide but still with a lot of characters.
First, the micro serious is warm and dynamic, extremely prcis. It ranges from jazz, blues, punch, just playing on the attack, volume and tone. It's pretty Sidr. The stamp is like a PAF with more DEFINITIONS.
The tone knob is of great progressive think it's electronic active! It can darken or more frankly lgrement Sonora. Ditto for the volume. Is lowered slightly and the sound changes, loss of punch and brightness zoup then a bit of a knob and redcoiffe ca ......

The micro is sharp puncher and warm trsdfini. It is equivalent in Gibson and less messy. This is not a micro hard though ...... By lowering the volume, decreases the dynamics and is approached his 70's.

UTILIZATION

Trs comfortable and manageable, although a little heavy, this guitar can play up without fatigue, but for small sizes, the prfrez Starplayer TV.

OVERALL OPINION

I have this guitar for 2 years (in fact I have 2) I like everything and I can not find a default ... and yet I looked. The only complaint is the weight and size but it is the type who wants a guitar that goes for a big Gibson or Gretsch, so if I do not cite these brands at random because it ' is in the register lies the Carlton ... but a price divided by 2 or 3.
I tried many guitars before ... actually has to be my 30th or 35th and guitar is by far the best.
I redid this choice because I have two and I also have a Double Cat of the same brand and is also a real bomb.

UTILIZATION

Trs enjoyable round for the picking Access in with a good treble.

Guitar PSE weight (that's a it sounds) fortunately I play sitting down. For my 185 cm it fits well trs.

The knobs are sensitive trs (2 volumes 1 Tone general) and it is very easy to find a good sound. I seem to change depending on the type of guitar used rglage.

SOUNDS

Playing mainly picking it absolutely necessary.

I use a Sovtek Mig 100 head office and MARSHALL MODEL 1960 + 412 1 LEXICON MPX 110.

I use a lot of the inning with a micro SETTING THE plutt Tone serious. The sounds are clear, distinct and warm.

OVERALL OPINION

Since 2005 Fvrier I am the happy owner.

The violin is excellent. There is no edit rglage.

I tried GIBSON GRETSCH and other REFERENCE who are in this area. But the bill is Whereas Different. Duesenberg about two to one of the other two.

I would do this and my next choice will Imprial.

Guitar ideal for rockn'roll, blues and even jazz and made good bossa
the pickups are really good. the neck pickup is warm wishes and allows clean and clear phrasing. The split of two microphones (twang) to get the gretsch sound very rock n 'roll rhythms ..... breathtaking
the double bridge pickup is excellent also for solos vintage / blues with sustain just right .......

OVERALL OPINION

Used for several months
In addition to a Stratocaster, this guitar lets me express myself better now in some type of music (the sound is much warmer)
I knew Duesenberg by chance, I was in despair at seeing so few choices left archtop guitar, I was ready to return to the custom-made with a luthier, but that the budget should be doubled ... ..

The handle is a jamboree of absolute pitch a long, 22 frets like fender, for a game like Gibson ES 335.

UTILIZATION

The handle is a delight, pulling even with a "serious", the 13/56 for me. Access to acute is very easy, given the guitar style, which, of course, is not a game for GTI. OVERALL OPINION

I for six months. I love absolutely everything about this guitar except its weight, but hey, this is common when it sounds like that. Finally even if it is not light ... I have tried many guitars over 20 years of practice and I found my happiness. I keep other guitars in addition to all the same, but at that price, I paid € 1100 on the net, it's just incredible.
This choice I would do again in a heartbeat and I certainly do it again to make sure a back up guitar for live. However it is of great strength and a flawless finish, delivered in cool flight.

Does everything said by my classmates:
22 round boxes, made in US, Bigsby bridge a robust and stable trs, a three position selector tlecaster kind (this is a good knob that moves net but not alone, which is a little stronger when the bed fiddles ....), a volume a tone ... a simple micro cot set, a double cot easel.

UTILIZATION

The handle is quite enjoyable and trs pais but fluid.
This is an impressive guitar and quite heavy but at the same time, it is a half box so it could hardly be otherwise.

SOUNDS

This is where it is to die for and I agree with many opinions: I tried half a body for crystal clear sound and deep, and it's perfect ... but in a cot, it makes much more than a joke in other records including rock trs.

Short, one prcis, deep, with a beautiful sustain (a small compressor on the beast and you understand what it's like the sustain ...) but also a sound that has the personality that does not sound gibson anything (even closer to another brand, which is not to honor that Duesenberg MRIT to exist even for her, it is more of cot gretsch ...)

I bought 2 months ago now and it's been two months since I no longer affects neither my les paul or my PRS McCarty is good ... but the novelty is a novelty effect that continues!

Like everyone, I have to applaud me pter phallanges for the price quality ratio of the gear. If we take a basic ES 335 Factory comes out today, well in terms of finishing, carl carlton gibson explodes and in terms of sound is almost always better. Guitar made in Germany, signed by the luthier. Mine is 2004.
The neck has 22 frets. It is relatively thick, but very round, is well in hand.
Two microphones: a micro-type P90, a Gibson PAF humbucker type. Three switch positions.
Tune o matic and Bigsby vibrato original, standard on the left.
Two knobs: volume and tone. The race of the knobs is very gradual and steady.

UTILIZATION

Thick handle, which is surprising for a bit of a regular stratum. But you get used to quickly and play fast RESPECT is fairly easy ... Well, we will not shred, but the hard possible, especially as the microphones provide the thunder.
Access to the acute type is Les Paul: not easy but you get more done.
Excellent ergonomics: relatively light weight (hollow body), handle of medium length. Only cash can be a problem: it is thin but very wide, but that's what makes it so charming.

SOUNDS

The sounds are simply wonderful.
Neck pickup: the blues, rock is ecstasy. Jazz is also widely affordable.
Bridge pickup: very good for the big rock and hard, without falling into the metal of course ... ACDC Led Zep go beautifully.
It really is the highlight of the skyscraper.

OVERALL OPINION

This scraper is excellent. The table is carved, not just dug like TV. The violin is simply excellent, microphones bluffing, the delightfully retro look (orange). Bought 1000 euros on ebay is a bargain .... Even SUVs for 1600 euros, it's worth it.
Gibson well above the same price, and even more expensive Gibsons. It is at least comparable to a 335 es. Okay, there will not be the whole myth surrounding Gibson, but it will make a good economy and the look is truly original.
