Made in China.
Two humbuckers - Bridge tune-o-matic like Gibson - 22 boxes.
Two volumes and two tones - 3-way switch.
Good violin without big flaw.
The varnish "vintage sunburst" is a success, but it is a bit thick at the handle.

UTILIZATION

The handle is quite round a bit big for small hands like mine (but we made it even easier chord positions with the thumb on the low E string)).
Access to acute rest easy. Proper weight balance.
The frets deserve a little polishing on the edge for comfort.
Its powerful sound with good sustain.

SOUNDS

I play mostly jazz. But I also addresses other styles: pop, rock to funk and blues.
Dot is comfortable everywhere except for large distos or it quickly becomes rough (on the other hand it is not helped by my amp Vox AD30VT).
We feel that even when the electronics are the weak link in this guitar and it deserves a better microphone set.

OVERALL OPINION

Purchased Model 300 € there is already a few years. I wanted to play on a semi hollow long. I sold my US strat and I was looking for a different kind of sound with a small budget.
I tried a lot of guitars in this kind ES335 budget (less than 400 €) and it's the DOT who eventually won. She did not have the best handle (too big at first), I did not feel super comfortable, but it had the best sound, there was no picture.
I'm thrilled with this guitar, it is enough for what I play (every day).
