Godin will showcase tomorrow at Musikmesse 2014 its new Montreal Premiere semi-hollow guitars, one of which features the Fishman TriplePlay.
Canadian manufacturer Godin completes this year its Montreal Premiere series of semi-hollow guitars with the P90, P90 w/Bigsby and TriplePlay models.
The three new Montreal Premiere guitars feature two “f” holes and an internal spruce “breathe-through” design for easier airflow inside the center bloc, which enhances the resonance. Also common are the set-in mahogany neck, the rosewood fingerboard, the double binding and a Graphtech ResoMax bridge. The scale length on these guitares is 24.75” and you’ll find volume and tone knobs as well as a 3-way pickup switch.
The Montreal Premiere Sunburst P90 HG is equipped with a pair or Godin Kingpin P90 pickups and a custom tailpiece. It is available with or without a Bigsby tremolo and roller bridge, and the Montreal Premiere Sunburst TriplePlay includes the Fishman MIDI system with an additional hexaphonic pickup underneath the bridge and Graphtech Ratio tuners.
