This guitar is made in China as indicated on the label.
It includes the configuration Gibson ES 335 with a slight modification in the horns (more advanced than the Gibson.
The neck profile repents LP 59 in just over end.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very comfortable to play, access to acute poses no problems.
The guitar is well balanced and allows for comfortable use both sitting and standing.
The position of the settings is classic Gibson.

SOUNDS

I use this guitar to play blues and rock but I found myself hard to do because the original pickups are surprising in their versatility.
I use a Peavey amp DeltaBlues for clear sound, the sound obtained is very blues with a preference for micro serious.
For heavy distortion I use a Marshall amp 30th anniversary here we discover the versatility of this guitar that sounds more rock than ES 335.

OVERALL OPINION

Initially I wanted to buy an Ibanez Artist, but the price of the occasion is Assé high so I went to see what he exits on nine.
I saw the AS83 but I was only tank in terms of product quality compared to the asking price.
After trying I was dazzled by the sound of this guitar and the range of use that could have, so I bought it.

More aesthetical finishing and this guitar is remarkable (corp flamed maple), it's beautiful and it sounds that the people demand.

UTILIZATION

The handle is simply excellent, the profile is fairly flat (type LP-60), rosewood fingerboard trs of good quality perfect finish, bindings throughout the key frets trs fine (this I liked that I had ds in hand).
Ergonomics is the same as ES335 guitar fairly large, moderately heavy.
The Chinese are passs mates in the art of building good trs musical instruments at a price drisoire. The luthier with whom I did replace the pickups also wonders how do they get such a price.
The pickups are trs means, however, lack of large DEFINITIONS, a fawn trsdsagrable Drool, and sorely lacking teeth on the microphone acute, it is unfortunate position intermdiaire benefitted because we lose the harmonics that give micro acute as charming position neck / bridge.

SOUNDS

Grading is taking into account the original pickups.
I did just replace the pickups with two Seymour Duncan: a PAF59 SH1 and SH2 in the neck Jazz bridge. I did not choose the SH4 not to "out" of the spirit of the guitar, and to avoid the feedback as it is when even a semi-hollow. And that's just wonderful! Roundness, its just a flute neck, in the gnaque bridge and full of harmonics. I am fulfilled. I urge the two microphones. The crunch position with a TS9 Tube intermdiaire SECAM and a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe is splendid. In his clear, neck position, the sound of George Benson.
10/10 I put the replacement of the microphones (with covers to keep the beauty of the object), otherwise I would put 7 / 10. Replacement cot me 220 euros all inclusive.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 1 month.
I rvais an ES335, I tried about twenty, old, of rcentes but it's really expensive, and finishes are not gniales, not on dco the button, the tables often ugly trs (the best are kept for custom MODELS), Gibson does not care really the mouth of the world. It's a shame.
And as I walked into town, past a window, my girlfriend pointed out to me, I try, buy, play and even in the evening concert. I'm happy as a kid, especially since the addition of Seymour. My guitar teacher friend just bought the same (the jackal ...).
I highly recommend the purchase of this beautiful instrument and a great price dfiant any competition.

UTILIZATION

Good ergonomics, nice handle. Lutherie neat.
To obtain a sound is simple: two humbuckers, a three-position switch, two volumes, two tones. Gib like, what. Broadly, three basic sounds by the microphone switch. Classical, I I want nothing else. The guitar sounds at 58 and made coffee, I do not believe. An instrument has a personality, I do not like chameleons.

I wanted an ES 335 to play jazz, fusion, blues ... In short, the directory of the ES, without paying the ridiculous demands that Gibson (and again, the euro is strong against the dollar!)

Astonished by the quality of the violin, but resolved to immediately change any mics (these two points are almost constant in Ibanez), so I opted for a pair of Seymour 59, which seemed the most faithful to the spirit of the guitar (Gibson 57's are more expensive and not better in my opinion). I was not disappointed. I have at least as well as € 600 for Gib (480 guitar, the pickups 120), or 3 to 4 times cheaper, and left-please (I belong to this caste minority and ostracized) . Sustain enormous Round Neck microphone at will, pretty crunch ... Strato with the rest of the book, I'm dressed for winter.

I put 9 of 10 with Seymour. I decline to 6 / 10 with original Ibanez.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month. With the change of microphones, it is transfigured. This instrument pro, with unbeatable value for money. I have not tried many of its competitors, and then "backwards", being left-handed. But I have heard over and over.

The only problem for me: it is made in China. I think it's possible to get out of the instruments of this quality without exploiting the workforce at low prices. Godin with his trademark "Art & Lutherie", made in Canada, shows: they are better and no more expensive than Chinese. The argument "Gibson is expensive because it is US" does not hold water. It's expensive because they sweeten the myth. Fender is (barely) more reasonable about it.

This choice I would do without hesitation. I prefer to buy my guitars used, but it's really hard to come across what we want when we are left-handed.

UTILIZATION

The handle is enjoyable trs. I usually play a Start, I had a lightweight adaptation time, because it is still more pais. But now I prfere the handle of the as83 that my Mexican Start!
CHAC is relatively easy to acute .. may be not as much as a ibanez RG or a stratum, but these are the queens of Contents! No, that is + CSTA good all the same.
The guitar is like ES335, ie a body (beautiful) relatively large. But it still retains a good ergonomics. It is obvious that to you if you change your regular at stratodes forms.
Are obtained trs good sound, playing a bit with the knobs.

SOUNDS

This guitar is versatile trs, although its areas of prdilection are jazz, blues and rock.

Are obtained with the hot sounds trs micro serious, especially playing with the knob of Tone. The position is intermdiaire trs singing, and a grain spcial trs .. Ideal for playing Zappa! The micro acute may be worse, the sound is not hot enough, so finally, but compared to the micro serious is Different. However, it remains a good microphone. Personally, I think the customization of this little wonder can do a real bte! I replaced the microphone by a sharp original Seymour Duncan SH12 (MODL George Lynch) and the neck pickup by sh1 (59). The sound is great, it Arelle feel like a guitar amricaine hands ...

OVERALL OPINION

This will be a year since I use it. This guitar is special, it takes some time to learn, but now I can not do without! The report price is qu'intressant quality .. it's Ibanez Compared to a certain brand amricaine little democracies, including the top prizes easily reach 900 ...
With the same money I would do without this choice hsitation! This guitar is worth the DEIS!

UTILIZATION

the handle is a highway, the guitar is pretty big, but played close to the body, it is a real treat. it's light, well balanced, access to treble is good even if it is not where we operate the best. it sounds very "unpluged" with a restriction on the bridge pickup.

SOUNDS

I bought it for a game above all jazz, and thus increase Thomastik-Enfeld then pulling hard. a roland jc 120 amplifier type (or emulation) is a pure joy if you only use the neck pickup or the intermediate position and the dosing volume and tone. I think this type of game that suits him perfectly, the bridge pickup has no interest.
given what I just mentioned and knowing that I play mainly light or very little saturated, I always find the sound that suits me, but my friends blues and rock and roll may have a different opinion because the beast is still very versatile because of its violin.

I use it since 2006 always with great happiness. I was looking for a copy of the famous 335 to play jazz without having to put out my bank account, I am not disappointed! value for money is excellent and the old instrument, if you want to make it even more versatile and give it a particular color, change the pickups is a great base just waiting to evolve.
