hi,
could anyone offer advice..... I am using a terratec phase 24 souncard and i have connected my whardale monitor speakers. when i use this set up with cubase it is fine, but when i play a mp3 on media player for example there are "clicks" in the sound. I have selected in the sounds and audio devices section in the control panel the "BCo #0 line" option in the dropdown menu for sound playback audio advice, i assume this is the terratec soundcard i have selected, it does play an mp3 afterall, but i dont understand why it makes the clicking sound. could anyone help?

its not the soundcard's fault. its your system. something is slowing down the mp3 decoder of your sound drivers, thus producing clicks and pops.
