I use this mic since December 2006, replacing my Duncan Designed hb102 Jackson Dinky DK2 my (japan). So that's three months that I use on my Line6 spider2 75 watts.

I play mainly mtal (black, industrial and melodic) and I is its prfre EHJV! A cot on HB102 is really bland. With this mic in the bridge position, the palm mute
dcollent tapestry! In clean, the sound is nice but lacks a bit of warmth and roundness. For mtal, it is perfect with its high output, despite his claret distortion leve I use.

Compar an EMG 81, I find that the harmonics clips out more easily and clearly. The sound is a little more "draft" a EMG 81 is a little colder.
I also a DiMarzio DP100 prfre.

The price is certainly a little but this micro lev Mount hand the United States is well made trs. Here we see much diffrence between the Duncan Designed and "real" Seymour Duncan.

Yes, APRS utlisation 3 months, I certainly would do choose to replace a Duncan Designed.
