Hybrid Amplifier, preamp and tube distortion (one), but 70W is enough power, reverb, distortion gain for the nice little crunch to overdrive ... footswich to select a channel clean / distortion and / or reverb
is a 70W so good .... it weighs his weight!
UTILIZATION
Personally I often play in distortion, the sound is powerful enough ... may even be too ^ ^
A manual? What for? It's really not hard to understand, a footswitch that can be stored in the box to change channels, a dozen buttons, a jack .... not really complicated ^ ^
In fact when I am not in a group, I put the volume of the distortion at 0 ... the worst is that it works! And it's not very loud, so it's fantastic. The reverb is adjustable from 0 to 10 and we hear it, the clean channel is pretty nice but it does not work at 0 volume on the other hand
is a bit annoying because 1 to 2 (on volume) the sound increases quite rapidly.
SOUNDS
This amp, I think it's fantastic, it can give a lot of different sounds, and even more if you, like me, settings on your guitar (the Lag Roxane allow Switcher with buttons volume to pass in single or double coil). I play a lot with acute high enough (around 7) the midle ... middle, and low at around 5 in the 2-3 ... but variations can make sounds blues, rock, hardcore, punk ... so setting the distortion is also very handy ^ ^
OVERALL OPINION
I recently but I use it a lot, bought used because it is no longer produced, it is a very good investment. It is very convenient, not too hard to carry as large marshall it to a warm side, I think. It is excellent for beginners and pros alike, or just for those who want to have fun, for a price not too expensive (around 150 €) must still be found. If the footswitch is not through with cons, it must be ordered from Fender because it is characteristic to the amp and it's 50 € more.
