3 fully independent channels, channels 2 and 3 (OD1 and OD2) share the same EQ.

Comprehensive connectivity for an amp of this price range, with line-out (without level control) to HP emulation, parallel effects loop with level control and switch adjustment.
2 HP (8 ohms). headphone jack, footswitch (fourni. ... phew!).
the only effect on board this amp quite "old" and reverb (spring, please) of average quality but relatively honorable on this type of amp.

UTILIZATION

Using ultra simple, at worst, and the manual provided clear enough that even the less gifted among us are doing well!
This gives fast enough sound good on all three channels, all tube preamp that is felt and is very very good job!

SOUNDS

I use it for different types of music, from rock to nice phone, via Ben Harper (beaucoup. .. see a lot) by the Metallica to the big Boussin Machine Head, Korn, Slayer ... Jackson with EMG equipped with Seymour Duncan and former.

The clear sound of the amp is not his strong point, but it is far from yucky contrary to what some say. With a good set it is possible to leave a clean pretty cool.
The crunch channel (OD1) is probably the highlight of this amp, everything changes from AC / DC Iron Maiden, the grain is very nice, the lamp is good to feel the wonder Techonologies Valvestate done here!
Channel 3 (OD2) is the channel of the nags, the gain is much larger than the crunch channel, and quite progressive, pushed back a dislocated severe ca! with an equalizer dug in V we get a good big sound thrash metal present, without any external pedal. Pity it is that the equalization of the amplifier whether clean or saturated or very far from being the "world champion of efficiency" (as Marshall knew the majority of there ...) but the Adding a graphic equalizer ds loop works miracles!
Most metalheads (like me ...) think to change the lamp by a 12AX7 preamp R2 in Groove Tubes (one of the best Sovtek what!), A change that will do wonders on both are the sounds that cleans saturated with the amp!
It lacks the large distortion of the world's most accurate AC bcp tend to drool and feedback and by other feeback happens very quickly but could ... it sounds!

For power, 100 watts are announced here! Difficult to be caught without one in the power of the amp, at worst a lil connection to sound system via the sorites line out (which is very very good job) or a microphone in front of the HP and the problem is solved !

OVERALL OPINION

I use this amp for about 6 years and for this price range and what type of amp I'm very happy! Certainly it does not support any of the comparison with the sounds of an all-tube amp but here is not one. The tube preamp is very effective and is feeling very well, it sounds better than the bcp new MG series every transistor in Marsall Transtube or from home or a Peavey Vox Valvetronix (May right here in my opinion. ...).

For the subwoofer amp, it's tough, the Hp (a gold in the Black Celestion please, do not hit the high end but doing a very good job). Never had any concern, except that the receiver will sometimes purr of a sudden (or have a buzz going pti if you prefer) and I have no idea why, it did not come from the lamp (yet changed it recently) ... apparently shared a problem with a lot of users but which never lasts very long and usually disappears very quickly as soon as you play.

For this type of amp, ds this price range, especially for the price where you just find it on the market today OCCAZ (nickel at 300 euros easy) is a very good amp, a good compromise between an all transistors and all lamps, the time did not demand more than an amp of this type can provide! Excellent quality / price ratio!

Ultimately a very good investiessement who has not too much as an amp and looking at big fat beefy rock sound with a big power!
