Looks like AKG aren't happy with Sennheiser getting all the cake, now they too are releasing their own series of earphones for everyday use.
Prices range from 10 € for the K 309 to 80 € for the K 319: enough to dig into that growing iPod-sparked market that’s been dominated by Philips & Sony so far.
The K 319 has boosted bass and a volume control. It comes with an extension cable, a plane adaptor, a hard case and a cable rolling device.
K 309: semi open and light.
K 311: semi-open, weighs 5 grams, lots of bass. Available in 3 colors and comes with extra pads.
K 313: has larger transductors (13 mm). Comes in 2 colors, with pouch.
K 315: semi-open available in brick red or black. Volume control on the cable.
K 317: supposedly the first semi-open in-ear earphone to weigh as little as 5 grams. Retractable 50 cm cable, pouch, cable storage device.
