I was looking for a card with economic drivers and ASIO2 GSIF2 with 2 audio inputs with good dynamics, without pre-amp (I'm already equipped) and 4 audio outputs (2 for 2 for monitoring and return of the VSTi in the card after surface treatment) with very low latency and 24bits/96Khz that is ultra stable ...
The Audiophile does it all perfectly! In 24/96 I have a latency of 1ms with ASIO2 drivers and buffer to 128.

Main PC: Intel PIV 3.0 GHz PC - 1GB RAM - ASUS P4R800V-Deluxe - 5 HDD (SATA and ATA 40 to 120 GB)

I use Cubase SX and Gigastudio 3 Orchestra and Plugins VSTi (Moog Modular, Atmosphere, Virtual Guitarist 2, Groove Agent 2, Xphraze, etc ...) and I save just one solo voice audio.

UTILIZATION

Installation nickel loaded with the latest drivers on the site.

No conflict at this time.

Panel config fairly practical and simple (but not beautiful!).

OK there is a manual brief but very clear ...

GETTING STARTED

Drivers very stable.

Drivers updated on the site.

Software used: Cubase SX and Gigastudio 3

1ms latency in 24/96 with the drivers and ASIO2 buffer to 128.

I have not been tested for maximum possible leads.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had two weeks and I'm happy for now!
His most are compatible ASIO2 GSIF2 and the two monitor outputs plus 2 audio outputs, low latency, stability, good dynamic.

I tested a few cards, but the quality / price ratio is at the top with this card, more M-Audio makes good market share, which gives us a sustainable monitoring and updates.

The only snag is idyllic: I had no CD in the box Reason Adapted and Live4 Lite instead of Live5 Lite ... But after an email, technical support sent me the CD of Reason and a registration card and informed me that the upgrade to Live5 Lite is on their site. SAV hat which confirms my good choice of M-Audio!

I would do this choice with his eyes closed!
