The Casio CTK 496 is an ... electronic keyboard, but I'll put in the category of "organ-pouet pouet supermarket" as jai have read elsewhere. The keyboard is 5 octaves, hit cheap plastic.

Connections:
MIDI input / output (still happy ...), input / output jack, power plug (supplied)

For features, I will not do better qu'audiofanzine, and see the plug.

This keyboard has no effect section (laughs). It does not sequencer.

Even when I put 5 for MIDI, at least I did not have to put it directly in the trash ...

UTILIZATION

The configuration is what it is ... a 6 year old to navigate.
The "sound" (the pouet-pouet) are not published.
The manual is well done for.

OVERALL OPINION

I own this keyboard for 2 years.
The characteristic I like least? There is nothing special that I like him at all.
It represents for me a youthful, you know I was looking for a synth when I bought it and I did not know the difference between an electronic keyboard and a synth, I do connassais of Besides, nothing, so it's entirely my fault ... But Casio could specify that this keyboard is a stew.

The value for money? Wait ... Casio Electronic Keyboard CTK-496: more than 2200 pesos (I live in Mexico), Analog Synthesizer Casio CZ-1: about 2800 pesos ... argggh

With experience, I definitely do not do it again this choice, too bad I had no one around me to tell me that I was a [stupidity], but hey that's how we learn ...

I would still like to add a little sarcasm before truce to end, this keyboard I use now (the time I sold it and I get an analog synthesizer) keyboard master. Too bad he did not pitch wheel / bend (but the price would have been even more exaggerated).
In addition there is a function of the keyboard that I really like and one is the "Chord Book", the book or dictionary of agreements, I will admit that it's quite handy ... but it does not pay the price of the keyboard ...
I am not a dramatic note as it is my fault that I was disappointed, and in its category and price range, this keyboard is probably no worse than another.
