    Great for BEGINNERS

    Yamaha PSR-S550Published on 02/02/12 at 12:08
(This content has been automatically translated from French)
    61-key arranger keyboard
    5 octaves

    DSP 239
    26 Mode of harmony effects

Has a jack, a SUSTAIN jack, two USB, nothing else.

800 pre-recorded sounds non-editable, high quality, with a dual mode, and a LEFT. Adding styles, and sounds as possible with the USB ports + a style editor.

Sequencer unofficial BUT possibility of using the RECORD mode in a band, or with 16 Tracks, as a simple sequencer.

    UTILIZATION

Very user friendly (everything is broken in a logical easy to understand)

Manual clear and more than enough, generous examples.

Unfortunately, no way to edit the sounds, or edit the ONE TOUCH SETTING!

    OVERALL OPINION

    OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 4 years, this is my first keyboard, I learned many things with it with my PSR-S550 that I more or less turned away from classical piano to see what these machines extremely attractive for a kid of 10 years could do.

Today, I have an analog modeling synthesizer, the M-AUDIO Venom, my father gave me a sequencer, the Akai MPC2500, and I think I can say that I discovered the sound world of electronic instruments with him .

I highly recommend it for beginners or those who try. Amateur and pro, go your way!
