I coupled with a pre-amp behringer lamps T-1953 and I admit that is your exact surpenant.
Of course this is not a Neumann or a pre-amp avalon but for a budget of less than € 500 you can have the hardware and enjoyable trs good quality for his home studio and especially without ruin!
