I use the microwave for 4-5 years now. I opted for the latter because of tight budget.
Box and accessories:
I had already enjoyed the packaging in a protective case, with the windscreen and support for the microphone.
In use, the case is tjrs in good condition. Regarding support: the weight of the mic, and despite tightening it tends to turn one down (I put it on one foot with capsule upwards). It's a bit annoying, but I'm with. Sometimes I need to use capsule down (sound of a UDU for example), and there is no pb.
OVERALL OPINION
Versatile:
I really appreciate the versatility of this microphone: uni, bi or omni directional: it really allows use in multiple configurations: I happen to catch singing duo ("as" bi-directional with a singer on each side, or taken mood omni guitar voice, and even records ERfKE in omni. Otherwise I use for uni-directional recording of the song or my guitar. Mitigation and pass filter below may also prove useful.
I have not tried bcp models before buying because the budget was one of the distinguishing characteristics ... I could try taking on a Rhodes, I can not remember the model, which can be had on one side a little more "friendly" in the sound, but I do know certify.
His side, I find it good for my amateur use. It is transparent and reproduces voices and strings. I may be desired sound a little warmer, but in itself it is certainly a bias ...
if buying it again, I will test other micro certainly make me a better view, but in all cases, although micro filled his office and I was not disappointed.
