«  This mic is not deaf :) »

Published on 03/06/12 at 03:42
Having worked at the former importer of the brand (Audioland), I knew quite well the range. Across all models, the noise footprint is. We like it or not. In any case, as with any mics, the Z3300A does not fit everyone in singing. The Se Electronics are not micro-neutral and do not produce a dull sound. The sound is brilliant. It may be aggressive if planted out some amps, but I like him in return in addition to SM57. If I need extra shine without going through an EQ, I add a little signal from the Z3300A, if I make a crossover needs. Briefly, after each of these methods of recovery, there are infinity. Regarding the presence of sound, I find that all microphones To make an interesting sound and workable, but a little lacking in presence, body and, in my humble opinion, probably requires more experience to the mix than other micro that provide a full and very present.

OVERALL OPINION

How long you use it? I bought it 6 months ago or so.

How would you rate the quality / price? very good

With experience, you do again this choice? Yes, but to complete my park (very small at the moment because I have a SM57, SM58 and Z3300A), my neighbor could be a Audio Technica, Shure or Neumann, these three brands ultimately remains to be defined model or models, because I do not sing myself, so everything will depend on the voice of the person with whom I would work.
